Erica (She/Her) is an Oakland native who got her start in advocacy through her own lived human experience of being a Black, Lesbian, Christian woman. Her journey started as a participant at SMAAC in Oakland California where she later gained employment facilitating work groups and conferences. In her younger years she volunteered at APEB, Ark of Refuge, and facilitated queer youth groups out of her home. After graduating from UNLV she began her work in Health Care advocating for patients’ rights.  

Erica hopes to assist others in recognizing the lived experience of others and foster the ability to love without boundaries as we were all created to do.
