Carmen Cristina Garcia is a 24 year old Latina trans woman, with a career focus of helping her community. She founded QueerCare with Aubri Tokar in January of 2021, during the ongoing Covid Pandemic. Seeing her already marginalized community struggle with securing after care for life saving surgery, she sought to do all she could to make sure less obstacles were in the way for LGBTQ people. In addition to running QueerCare, she is a Mental Health Counseling Masters of Arts Candidate at the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership.
